Shipping

How long does shipping take?
Orders ship from our Yokohama warehouse. Packing usually averages 1 business day, then delivery is typically 1-6 business days after dispatch.
Which carriers do you use in Japan?
Japan Post is our primary carrier. We may also ship with Yamato Transport or Sagawa Express depending on destination, parcel size and service availability.
Do you guarantee delivery?
Yes. Every order comes with our Arrival Guarantee. If your package is damaged or does not arrive, contact us and we will help resolve it.
How quickly do you ship after ordering?
Packing usually averages 1 business day. When your order leaves our Yokohama warehouse, we send tracking by email.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Tracking is sent by email once your order ships with Japan Post, Yamato Transport or Sagawa Express.
What happens if my package is delayed?
Contact us with your order number. We will check the carrier tracking and help resolve missing or delayed parcels under our Arrival Guarantee.
Can I change my shipping address?
Contact us as soon as possible. Address changes are easiest before packing is complete; once shipped, redirects depend on the carrier and may not be possible.
Do you ship to PO boxes or parcel lockers?
Yes, where the selected carrier supports delivery to that address type.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your returns policy?
We offer a 90-day goodwill return window from purchase. Items should be in resaleable condition with original packaging and tags where possible. Final-sale items and gift cards are not eligible.
Do I pay for return shipping?
For change-of-mind and Fit Guarantee returns, you pay return shipping. If the item is faulty, damaged, wrong or not as described, Rod Armour Japan covers the return shipping cost.
How do I return something?
Email support@rodarmour.com with your order number and wait for return instructions before sending anything back. Returns go to Rod Armour Japan Returns, Shak Tackle 株式会社, 〒230-0051 神奈川県横浜市鶴見区本町通三丁目164番地12.
What if I need a return label?
Return labels are not automatically issued for change-of-mind or Fit Guarantee returns. If the item is faulty, damaged, wrong or not as described, contact us first and we will confirm the remedy and return process.
How long do refunds take?
Refunds are processed after returned goods are received and inspected, using the original payment method where possible. If the original method is no longer available, we will arrange store credit or another option.
What if my product arrives damaged?
Email support@rodarmour.com with your order number and photos. We will repair, replace, refund or otherwise remedy in line with Japanese consumer law, and we cover return shipping.
Can I try the size before deciding?
Yes. Under the Fit Guarantee, you can try the item on your reel, rod or lure setup before deciding to return. Please return it clean with original packaging and tags where possible.

Warranty & Durability

Do you have a warranty?
Yes. Rod Armour products include a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It does not cover misuse, modifications or normal wear and tear.
How long will Rod Armour products last?
Our products are built for repeated real-world use with durable materials, reinforced construction and practical protection features for rods, reels and lures.

Payments & Pricing

What payment methods do you accept?
Available payment methods are shown at checkout before you complete your order. Card and digital-wallet payments are charged at the time of order.
Do you offer instalment payments?
Any available instalment or express payment options will appear at checkout for eligible orders.
What are the shipping rates?
Current Japan shipping is JPY 350 for orders under JPY 5,000, with free shipping on orders of JPY 5,000 or more. Shipping totals are shown at checkout before payment.
Are prices tax-inclusive?
Prices are intended to be shown tax-inclusive for Japan. Rod Armour Japan is operated by Shak Tackle 株式会社 and is currently a tax-exempt small business, not a Qualified Invoice Issuer.

Do you sponsor anglers or influencers?
We work with select anglers and content creators. Send us a message through our contact page with your social links and we will review your application.
Do you sell wholesale or to resellers?
Yes. We work with fishing retailers and distributors. Contact us with your business details for wholesale pricing.

Product FAQs

What sizes do the Rod Armour Pro Sleeves come in?
We offer multiple sleeve sizes for common rod lengths. Check the size chart or use Find My Size on the product page for the best fit.
Do the Rod Armour Pro Sleeves fit spinning and baitcast rods?
Yes. Our sleeves are designed for both spinning and baitcast rods. Choose based on rod length and guide layout.
Do you make custom-size rod sleeves?
Not currently. Our standard sizes cover most rod types. If you are unsure about fit, contact us and we will help you choose.
What size LureShield should I get?
LureShield is universal and designed for most lures and hooks. Check the size chart on the product page for dimensions.
How is LureShield different from cheaper covers?
LureShield uses thicker protective materials, reinforced edges and a secure wrap format designed to stay in place during transport.
Do the sleeves and covers float?
The materials may have some buoyancy, but they are not designed as flotation devices. Always secure your gear around water.
Do the Reel Armour covers provide full protection?
Reel Armour is designed to protect common impact and scratch zones while keeping the reel easy to access and transport.
How many rods can the WrapStrap carry?
WrapStrap can bundle multiple rods together depending on rod diameter and guide size.
Can I use WrapStrap and Rod Armour covers together?
Yes. WrapStrap is designed to work with Rod Armour sleeves so you can bundle protected rods for transport.
Does the bundle save space?
Yes. Bundles are designed to protect rods, reels and lures together while keeping gear easier to pack and carry.
